No, Japan is a right hand drive country so pretty much all Japanese imports are right hand drive. All the vans we import are right hand drive.
None of the vans we offer are available as official UK vans.
Japan is a temperate country. They don't use road salts on the roads like we do in the UK and therefore underside corrosion is often none to minimal.
The Japanese also tend to use public transport much more than us in the UK as it is much more reliable. This means most vans in Japan have a much lower mileage for the year than UK vans. Many of the vans we import have sub 50k miles on the clock. This means much less wear and tear on all components.
They also tend to be far more obedient and thorough than us in the UK and for that reason Japanese vans tend to be serviced at all the correct intervals and maintenance standards kept high.
Many of the vans we import have history in Japan, either with main dealers themselves, or independent garages. Where possible we endeavour to get the service documents with the van, however this is not always possible. However you can rest assured that we will thoroughly inspect the van mechanically and that it will be serviced by us, with a new service book if it is missing.
Yes, Japanese vans offer excellent safety features and crash ratings. The Japanese MOT (Shaken) is far far stricter than a UK MOT, however we will have MOT’d your van on arrival in the UK on top of this. Newer vans will also go through an IVA test to ensure they meet UK standards, including the addition of factory fog lights etc which are often not a requirement in Japan.
As there are no official emission certificates on imports (even with an IVA test) it is done solely on the month and year of the vehicle.
All the vans we offer meet Euro 4/5/6 standards depending on the year of manufacture.
No, with many companies now specialising in imported vans, it’s a competitive market – Nowadays, many main stream insurers will quote very competitively for ‘grey imports’ such as the Alphard or Elgrand MPVs (meaning vans never sold in the UK market).
Obtaining parts and independent and main dealer servicing is straightforward.

Yes, we pride ourselves on our no compromise, detailed servicing which typically includes engine oil and filter, cabin filter and air filter We would also re-gas air conditioning, replace any wear and tear parts such as braking system components, suspension components and may others parts if required before the van leaves us.
We also are mindful of the replacement of timing belts in line with manufacturer service requirements, so you can rest easy and enjoy your new van for a decade to come.
